Attend the famous Australian Italian Festival and sample some of the unique experiences that make up The Hinchinbrook Way on a fun-filled day trip to the Hinchinbrook Shire.
Departing WIllows Carpark at 7:30am, the Experience Hinchinbrook Coach will transport you into the heart of Ingham to explore the vibrant CBD and enjoy boutique shopping and dining at its absolute best. Don't miss the Mercer Lane Markets, set against a backdrop of rich and colourful mosaics depicting the history and culture of the Hinchinbrook Shire. Visit Lees Hotel - the Original Pub With No Beer, and Lou's Emporium - the Best Deli in North Queensland. At your leisure, make your way over to TYTO precinct to attend the Australian Italian Festival (ENTRY TO FESTIVAL NOT INCLUDED*) which kicks off at 10am.
At 2:30pm the coach will depart TYTO precinct to tour the Lower Herbert region. Get a taste of our enviable lifestyle when you visit Lucinda, where the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere dominates the scenery, and Dungeness, which overlooks Australia's largest island national park, Hinchinbrook Island. In Halifax you'll have the opportunity to browse the Herbert River Museum, before travelling to Victoria Estate to see Victoria Sugar Mill, the Co-Generation Plant and Australia's oldest steam locomotive, The Homebush. Home to Townsville by 7pm.

*Tickets to the Australian Italian Festival are $20.00 at the gate, or $15.00 if you pre-purchase online on Townsville Tickets. Children under 16 years who are accompanied by an adult are admitted FREE and can enjoy free amusement rides and a puppet show in addition to the other entertainment and attractions available.

Refunds will be issued by Local Tickets Pty Ltd if this event is cancelled before the schedule start date and time for any reason including inclement weather, or reasons beyond the event hosts control such as severe weather, flood, fire, explosion, civil disobedience, riot, labour disturbances, failure or delay in transportation, war, sabotage or other acts of God. If the event is rescheduled, Local Tickets Pty Ltd reserves the right to decide whether Ticket Holders will automatically be refunded, or whether tickets will be transferred to another date with a refund option. Local Tickets Pty Ltd reserves the right to deduct administration and merchant fee charges on all refunds from Ticket Holders regardless of the reason for the refund.
