Hi everyone. I would like to ask for your help.
My 15 year old son Braithe had a brain tumour last year. He is fully recovered now and is in perfect health. It is just so incredibly sad that many others don't get as good as an outcome as we did.
I am raising funds for the Townsville Hospital Foundation as the amazing medical people and facilities we have here are one of the reasons I still have my son.
One of the hardest things about what we went through was having to unexpectedly move away from our home, family, friends, school and community.
The more we can do here locally, the less kids have to travel for their health care.
I have written a book about our experience. This function will be a book launch but really its about raising awareness of kids cancer, giving thanks to the amazing organisations who supported us through the hardest time of our lives and celebrating how lucky we are to live in such a great part of the world.
100% of the profits from the function will be donated to the Townsville Hospital Foundation.
I'm asking you to please come along, bring a group of friends and family, have a drink and canapes at the beautiful new Pavilion at The Ville and help support the work of our amazing local medical people and a better outcome for kids outside the capital cities.
All Credit Card Payments incur a $1.00 Booking Fee (?) and Service Fee (?)
